July 21 - October 23 Oregon Shakespeare Festival Premiere of The Throne of Blood Project (MAP 2008), a collaboration between the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Ping Chong and Company to develop an interdisciplinary theatre work based on Akira Kurosawa’s film masterpiece THRONE OF BLOOD. Ashland, OR August 5 - August 8 NYFA for Yin Mei World premiere of City of Paper (MAP 2009), by choreographers Yin Mei and Sang Jijia, that will explore a Wayang-like shadow world in which ink, video, light, sound, paper and stage architecture converge in a post-modern meditation on history, fact and the mutability of human perception.
